Shine, baby, shine.: 2012

Oh my, it's been a while.

Well hello there :) Yes, I know, it's been AGES but there's been stuff going on and I just haven't had the time/forgot to update.... I apologise sincerely.

Anyway, I recently went shopping, and I thought I'd share my purchases, as always. So I went to Topshop and bought a white crop top and a beaded cami that I thought would both go really well with my new black disco pants I got from American Apparel (I gave in to the temptation.... SUE ME.):

I also went to good ol' UO and bought a pair of wine-coloured, high-waisted shorts, and a HAT. FINALLY. A HAT. :D :

Again, maybe I'll post some pictures with these items in, but I'm not making any promises, since I never seem to pull through with them... Oops.

I also cleared out my closet - it was hard to throw some things away, but I knew it had to be done. It's actually really nice, now, to look into my closet and think, 'I can wear all of these things!' instead of 'Nah, not that... or that....' if you kinda get what I mean... no? okay...

I'm leaving Spain on Sunday so this is the penultimate spanish post! I'm looking forward to going home, back to London - 6 weeks is enough... But I'll be back next year, most probably! I'm gonna miss the food the most. Definitely.

Right, so, I'm feeling the earring/necklace (aka an 'earlace') even though some people did think I was just wearing blingy headphones....
I love the pattern on the skirt (Topshop) - reminds me of seashells - I've posted about it before when I bought it. :)

Me being silly because the wind made the skirt look like harem pants/a nappy...

I was with my friend in a flat that she rents out in Spain for a few days and now I'm back with some more outfits! I had so much fun with her though and it was so nice to see her for a bit.

The peplum style top (peplum is soooo in right now, it's almost ridiculous... I am getting a TAD sick of it, to be honest....) is from Warehouse - bought by my mother (love ya, mummy :D).
Shorts are from Zara and the wedges (which I am in LUST with) are from UO - reduced from £80 to £50 to £20. It was fate, I tell you, FATE.)

I love this dress - and, of course, it's from UO, my hometown. I also got this cool ear cuff from Topshop that's connected to a comb thing... Weird, but I like it!

Top is from Topshop - bralets are really 'in' this season, as you probably already know, and Topshop went crazy with its stock of bralets, so I had to get one.

Skirt is from UO (LOVE dis place) - can't go wrong with a leather mini skirt! Especially if it's from UO...

I bought the skirt aaaggesss ago in New York and actually haven't even worn it until now. Bad of me, I know...

My sister and I had a little trouble photographing this one, but I think it turned out alright. She's also been trying her hand at braiding my hair recently - looking pretty good at the moment! More practising over the summer...

First outfit of the summer! I actually wore this a few days ago but only now got round to posting about it... Yeah, I procrastinate like that...

I'm in Spain con la familia at the moment so my outfits are going to be more summery and heat-orientated. I bought this dress in the Urban Outfitters sale - love it - and the necklace was a present but also from UO. The lipstick is a freebie Calvin Klein but I really like it - a really nice vibrant coral - very summery!
