Interlude: Holiday

"Now I can move on to facing Big Girl problems, no more high school drama, graduated with honours."

- Paramore (my love and forever-hair-crush, Hayley Williams)

This dress is from my Zara haul I mentioned in my previous post - my mum and I saw it on Oxford Street but they didn't have my size, but HALLELUJAH they had it in the Spanish store here, AND it was on sale. YEAH BUDDY.

Again, my hair was done by the fabulous Lisa (for whom I'm making a new website for - it needed a little sprucing up!) so, as I've said before, if you need your hair/make-up done, go see her - you won't regret it!

I've mentioned earlier, but my sister is my wonderful photographer and partner in almost all camera-related things I do. If you have instagram, check out her profile - it's pretty awesome - she even has 1000+ followers to back her up. *cue ooohs and aaahs*

Also, if you'd like something pretty for your eyes, I made a little video of a trip I took with a few of my friends to the countryside. Click here to watch it on vimeo :)

Loving Him was Red

"Losing him was blue like I've never known. Missing him was dark grey, all alone. Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you've never met... but loving him was red."

- Ma gal TSwift ;)

So I'm in Spain for the upteenth time in my life... and it's as wonderful as it's always been. I think as I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate this place more - the food is better, the sun is warmer and I don't get as annoyed by the family anymore - yay :D

I'll hopefully be bringing out more looks this holiday - fingers crossed! I did a massive Zara haul the minute I got here because the whole shop was on sale and it's cheaper here anyway because Zara is a Spanish brand - WIN WIN WIN.

I bought this bright red dress at the same time I bought the kimono-like dress in the previous post, using an asos voucher from my birthday gifts (I almost always think vouchers are the best present for me - no chance of disappointment or risk of not using it, and the to be honest, the impersonality of it doesn't bother me all that much... *shrug*). The dress itself is by Mango  (another Spanish brand) and I love love love the RED. Red is my family's colour - its lucky in Chinese culture, and looks prettyyyy.

I bought the shoes in the airport (duty free bitches - gotta make use of it, especially with shoes) and they're so gorgeous that I'll just have to deal with the fact I have to teeter on my toes when I walk in them. The cubic-cut heel is what got me...

We have our friend Lisa staying with us out here at the moment, and she also happens to be our hairdresser, so she did her magic and whipped my hair up into this awesome braided bun. She's done my hair since I was 10, so she's been dealing with my stubborn hair for 8 years now (woah, almost makes me feel old). I don't really trust anyone but her with my hair, especially with my dip dyes, and if you're looking for a new hairdresser, I strongly suggest her (Jonathon Ross and his family also get their hair and make up done by her... just sayin' *wink wink*).

And now, after all this talking, here are the photos:

Hope you liked the look :) Hype it on lookbook.nu if you can!

Wait For Me - Motopony

"Wait for me. I know it won't be easy. What a thing, to believe in a dream."

- Motopony

So it's been AGES. Sorry about that, but to be honest, it will most definitely happen again!

It's finally summer here in London, and the sun is saying 'hello' from behind the clouds. It's a little shy, and cries rain sometimes, but it's getting more and more confident as the days go by :)

My sister and I took a little stroll in the park to get some ice cream, and decided to do a little lookbook whilst we were there.

There are a lot of photos this time - the light was just perfect and I couldn't cut the roll down as much as I usually do... Hope you like the photos anyway - check it out on lookbook if you can!

p.s. I studded the hat myself - hope it doesn't look too shabby!

I want to make a lot of the photo captions: 'why so serious...'

See you next time,

Grown Woman

"I'm a grown woman. I can do whatever I want." - Beyoncé

I'm in Spain again! WOOOOOOOOO

I should definitely be revising more than I am... but fuckit. (butt fuck it lol) VIVA ESPANA!

Here's some photos of one of the dresses from the Beyonce H&M collection.

Also, I'M FINALLY 18. THE CEILING CAN'T HOLD ME, MTHRFKRS.
I wore this awesome dress from Three Floor that I'm totally in lust with. I'll make a post about it later, with some nice piccies with my friends (yes, I have friends. who knew?)

And cue the photos:

Thanks for looking :)
